The F150 is the workhorse of Yamaha's inline-four range and one of the most requested repower engines we install. Its 2.7-liter block is among the largest in the 150hp class, which is where the strong hole-shot and easy midrange come from, moving loaded center consoles and bay boats without straining. It ships with mechanical controls and can be ordered with Yamaha's Digital Electric Steering. If you are replacing an aging two-stroke, this is the modern swap we recommend most often.
